"the 1st catholic mission in Tierra del Fuego" Misión Salesiana de Santo Domingo Things to Do Tip by globetrott

Misión Salesiana de Santo Domingo was the first mission of the catholic church in Tierra del Fuego / Fireland and still today it looks like a small village with 2 churches and a few houses and a fence around all of them. From N3, the Panamerican highway you need to drive through a gate in order to see this place with various museums and places of interest. Drive in, take a parking-space and explore the area on your own. Everywhere the entrance is free, except in the museum, where you have to pay just the small amount of 4 ARG $ (=0,50 Euro)

Directions: Misión Salesiana de Santo Domingo is just a few km north of the town Rio Grande.
