Green Gates were built instead of other older city gates in the years of 1568 - 1571. Gates were designed by architects from Dresden and Amsterdam in mannerist style. The purpose of construction was representational, it was used as a guesthouse of famous visitors of Gdansk.

Now house is a part of National museum and office of former president of Poland Lech Valensa. Construction looks nice at a night time, it is like entrance to street near Mltava river.

Directions: It is in main square of city - wide Długi Targ street
