"... very affordable ..." Super 8 Motel- Holbrook Tip by vtveen

We already had read a lot about Super 8 Motels, so our expectations were not too high. But I have to admit we were rather satisfied with our one night stay in this Holbrook motel (for our visit to Petrified Forest National Park). We had a senior discount and paid less than USD 46, - for our room.

Location: a little bit outside the town, but there is no noise of the highway and the railway. There is no restaurant on walking distance, but it is America and everything goes by car.
Staff (is just one person): not too friendly and during check in a little bit ‘cranky’
Room: rather spacious and clean; we had a queen bed, which was OK. Try to avoid rooms close to the very noisy ice machine on the first floor !!
Breakfast: included in the price, is a basic continental breakfast but acceptable fore the money. Just cutlery and dishes are made of plastic.
Internet: in the motel lobby/breakfast area is free internet access.

Unique Qualities: Super 8 Motel Holbrook is not a luxury motel, but rooms are more than acceptable and including a breakfast very inexpensive.
Its location is convenient for visiting Petrified Forest National Park.
