A personal view from myself as my mum works there! It is in a great location and the rooms are very nice. The night reception staff are exceptional (my mum that is!) and can always help with any questions you may have about Gibraltar, Spain or getting to Tangier perhaps. If you do stay here and pass by reception from 11pm onwards, stop by and say Sugarpuff says "HELLO!"...thanks!!!

"I stayed one night in this Hotel in September while visiting Gibraltar on business.
The staff like everyone in Gibraltar were completely charming and helpful. The hotel is right in the centre and conveniant for the centre of town. The rooms are clean and confortable. I only ate breakfast in this hotel and it is worth doing this for the view which is great. Small swimming pool on the roof as well. I would recomend this Hotel to anyone visiting Gibraltar. I could not find anything wrong with it.

Check-in was very efficient and we had been allocated a sea view room on the 4th floor. You can pay extra for a guaranteed sea view or request one at no extra charge if one is available. The room was clean and well equipped and the bathroom had a very big shower cubicle - and a nice strong shower to wake you up in the morning! There was small balcony looking out across the bay - not the best of views, you needed to be higher up for those, but obviously they are saved for the people who pay for them! Nevertheless we enjoyed watching the boats come and go and all the building work that is going on down on the harbour. Breakfast is on the top floor and had everything you could want.

Unique Qualities: The Hotel is named in honour of one of Gibraltar's most valiant defenders, has recently completed a programme of rejuvenation as the hotel was built in 1974 and rejuvenated in late 1999.

The Rooftop Conference and Banqueting area has panoramic views of the oceanic gateway. The Eliott Hotel Gibraltar has a variety of flexible suites, complete with the audio visual technology. The conference suites extend to the first floor where the hotel has three meeting rooms, including a fully equipped boardroom, and finally the ground floor where there is a Restaurant and Bar.The Eliott Hotel Gibraltar has an array of guest accommodation with each room finished to international standards.Many of the guestrooms at the Hotel Eliott Gibraltar provide what has been described as wonderful views across the Straits of Gibraltar and beyond to the outlining landscape of the African Continent, due to its location on the coast of Gibraltar.
