Museum of the Land of Sejny in the Bishops' Palace
by evaanna

The Museum of the Land of Sejny (Muzeum Ziemi Sejnenskiej) is located in the former Bishops' Palace. Its permanent exhibitions cover the archaeology of the area, its Dominican past, the history of the local schools, the traditions of the Polish Army and struggle for independence and a collection of coins. A special place is given to the multicultural character of the region with such exhibits as, for instance, the Jewish menorah or Lithuanian cooking utensils.
We must have visited the place on a Monday as it was closed when we came.

Open: Tue.-Sun. 9.00 - 17.00

Address: J.Pilsudskiego 28 (The Bishops' Palace)
Phone: (87) 516 2212
