"Trail of the Cedars Nature Trail" Glacier National Park Things to Do Tip by PinkFloydActuary
Glacier National Park Things to Do: 178 reviews and 364 photos
A very popular hike, as you will witness from the fairly full parking lots in the area. The nice thing is that this is a relatively short hike (about 3/4 of a mile), and it is flat and easy to do on a raised boardwalk through this scenic, forested area. This area holds the easternmost rainforest in the country, so you'll be treated to many lush, green views and placards telling of life in the forest. The trail crosses over Avalanche creek, and the trail to Avalanche Lake splits off from this trail.
