It's always the question of where to eat in Belgium cities; too many choices, everything looks really good. Had lunch in an egyptian kebab restaurant located between Groenplaats and Handschoenmarkt, almost facing McDonald's. Good place to watch the world go by and cool yourself with a bolleke glass of De Koninck or your favorite Belgium beer in open air seat.

Dinner was so good at Eethuisje De Stoempot (along Vlasmarkt 12). Their stoemp (mashed potatoes with vegetables) dishes are excellent. Tried one with beef stew sauced with Kasteel beer and another with Argentine steak. My favorite Hoegaarden washed them down. Together with escargots as starter dinner cost only BEF 1235 for 2 persons.

Arrived Antwerp early morning, only had 80 Bfrancs too little for 2 sets of McDonald's breakfast. But gee the one along De Keyserlei (near the Centraal Station) accepts cards! How gracious the Lord is.
