There are two Annapurna World Vegetarian Cafes, one in Albuquerque and one in Santa Fe. For some reason they get an occasional bad review but mostly excellent reviews. CesVT and I had breakfast at the Albuquerque cafe on the way to the airport and our experience was quite good. I am sure Annapurna is busy at lunch time but in the morning it was quiet. The Breakfast Couscous with apricots, raisins, coconut and spices (they were out of the Breakfast Quinoa), the Cardamom Pancakes, and the chai tea were tasty. Miranda was our friendly hostess (who likes to travel and may join VT now). If you like to eat outside, don't miss their nice patio dining area which is a couple of doors to the east and dine with Ganesh.
Favorite Dish: Note that their menu has the statements: "we use no eggs, honey, wheat, refined sugar, corn, or peanuts" and "our alternative sweeteners include maple syrup, brown rice syrup and agave nectar."
