"Packing List" Egypt Packing List Tip by ycnan

Egypt What to Pack: 137 reviews and 84 photos

Luggage and bags: If you are on a tour or cruise, they will handle your luggage for you.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comforable shoes. If you plan to go to the temples and tombs, you'll be walking on uneven ground, with lots of stairs. Bring a sweater for surprisingly cool evenings and mornings. It rains only 3 inches a year so rain gear is probably not a must. Do bring a hat and clothing to wear for heat.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Imodium is your friend. Be sure to get your Hepititis A shot before you go, also tetnus and typhus. Have your doctor prescribe an antibiotic for the bug you will, no doubt, pick up somewhere along the way.

Photo Equipment: Some temples will not allow flash cameras. Some places charge extra for taking pictures.
