It is a well located place and the sign draws you in. Upstairs is a bit more upscale sit down restaurant, and down under is the bar and basic food types. Service is fast. They have been is business for 98 years, and the upstairs is preserved well.
Favorite Dish: I had the clam chowder for $5 and it was very good. The base was a bit peppery and the broth had a deep buttery flavor. Burgers at $8 and salads at $5-7 seemed reasonable downstairs, and the customers next to me enjoyed the meal.
