"Spean Thma" Angkor Wat Things to Do Tip by kenningst

Angkor Wat Things to Do: 834 reviews and 1,837 photos

Spean Thma is known as the "bridge of stone" west of Ta Keo. It is one of the few Khmer empire era bridges to have survived to the modern day. It was built on the former path of the Siem Reap river between Angkor Thom and the Eastern Baray and probably rebuilt after the Khmer period (around the 15th century). Honestly, nothing interesting about this bridge, it took me 40 seconds for a few pictures and off go to my next destination but again its along the way and so I guess its worth a stop and a few photos.
