Located inside the Mission San Jose in San Antonio Missions National Historic Parks, the Spanish Colonial Bookstore is a nice little shop dedicated to a lot of historical documents and books, as well as plenty of smaller children's books to make sure the kids that come to visit are well entertained and keep the memories of this trip.
What to buy: In particular, on this trip, we picked up some children's books on Javelinas. Javelinas are small piglike peccaries that are found mostly in the Texas coastal plains. The shop also contains information about Texas, Mexican and Spanish history.
What to pay: There were options for all budgets.
