Argo Georgian Bakery: "My very first hachapuri experience!" Argo Georgian Bakery Tip by Jefie
Argo Georgian Bakery, Chicago: 3 reviews and 3 photos
I think it's fair to say I never would have found this place if Dave (VTer dlandt) hadn't taken me to it. This is definitely an off-the-beaten-path spot, but if you can somehow manage to find your way to the Argo Georgian Bakery on Devon Street, you certainly won't regret it. We went there for breakfast with his wife Miyuki and daughter Nina and we each had a hachapuri (well, Dave had two!), a delicious flaky pastry filled with cheese that is typical of Georgia (the country, not the state). I didn't ask for the recipe, but let's just say it filled me to the brim and lunch became optional after that! Another great example of the cool things that come along with Chicago's diversity :o)
