Arthurs Tavern: "Arthurs Steak house, Hoboken" Arthur's Tavern Tip by jo104

Arthur's Tavern, New York City: 1 reviews and 0 photos

Most South Africans are big meat lovers and without exception I love a good steak.
Malcolm's brother suggested we visit Arthurs Tavern for a great steak and we were not disappointed at all. We all ordered the junior sirloin which at 12oz (340g) although as far as I am concerned this steak was huge and thick in depth. The meat itself was cooked perfectly to order leaving it succulent and tasty. Arthurs famous sauteed potatoes accompany this dish, and we ordered a side of mushrroms and coleslaw.

I am embarressed to say that I could not finish the meal but I loved every bite I took. They also serve beer in litre mugs much to my friend Malc's delight.

We did remark on the good choice of music in the tavern & you are left to enjoy your meal in peace. Open 11.30 - 11pm (12pm Friday & Saturday and 10pm Sunday)
