"Best views of Hong Kong" Victoria Peak Tip by Willettsworld

Victoria Peak, Hong Kong: 297 reviews and 444 photos

Victoria Peak is probably the most visited place in Hong Kong and is easily accessible by taking the fun Peak Tramway from Garden Rd near St John's Cathedral in Central. The Peak (as it?s known locally) has an altitude of 552m (1,810ft) on the western side of Hong Kong Island. The main area, where the tram terminates, is very touristy with the wok shaped Peak Tower, opened in 1997, the most notable structure. It comes complete with shops, cafes and restaurants plus several attractions: Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong and the Peak Explorer Motion Simulator.

The other large structure opposite the Peak Tower is the Peak Galleria which is a leisure and shopping complex.
