"Antigua Abacería de San Lázaro" Sevilla Restaurant Tip by tini58de

Sevilla Restaurants: 230 reviews and 249 photos

We found this place by chance when looking for a cozy little place to have some birthday tapas for Heinz. We left Calle Betis (which is a very popular strip for nightowls with bars and restaurants) and saw a crowd of people just outside of what seemed to be a little food store!

We went inside, found a seat and ordered some food - mostly cold food like the excellent cheeses and ham. There were lots of people there, but most of them locals, which we enjoyed a lot!

The food was delicious and the red wine was excellent! And the ambiente was something else: tapas in a food store!

Address: Calle Pureza 12, Sevilla
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: On the other side of the Guadalquivir river, in a parallel street of Calle Betis. Near the bridge Isabell II.
