Rathaus Schöneberg U-Bahn Station, Berlin: 1 reviews and 3 photos
Rathaus Schöneberg U-Bahn Station like no other I have seen. The U4 line bisects and is incorporated into the Rudolph Wilde Park. At first glance the station appears to be some grand building that could be a restaurant. It is only when you see a train come into the station you realise what it is. The disguise is complete with the Carl Zuckmayer Bridge on top of the station building. The station was constructed this way because of geological problems and stands on posts. It seems strange to be in a station looking out of windows into a park and to be a park looking at a building with trains travelling inside.
