Favorite thing: Taiwan has a rich variety of unique fruits to try, all your favourites from home are available as well as a few Asian surprises, guava, lychee, dragon fruit, white coconut, starfruit, wax apple, papaya and the mango amongst others. You can also try durian in the summer although this is imported from Thailand (not for the faint hearted)

Fondest memory: Starfruit juice/plums/guavas
