Molfsee is a great openair-museum of old farmhouses , that were taken from many different villages in northern Germany and totally rebuilt again in that museum, that is situated quite close to the city of Kiel.
Haubarg is one of the typical buildings of northern germany, you will find them mainly on the Hallig islands, it is a type of building with a high roof, covering all of the building including the stables and living-quarters.

The museum is open daily 9a.m. till 6p.m.
from April 1st till October 31st
From November 1st till March 31st it is
open only on sundays 11am - 4pm
(not all houses are open in winter!)
entrance-fee is 6 euros p.p., 2,- for children
and 13,- for families including all minor children

Address: D-24113 Molfsee - Hamburger Landstraße 97
Directions: Molfsee is just a few km outside of Kiel and unfortunately it is not listed on VT as a village.
