Joggins Fossils, Halifax: 5 reviews and 5 photos

The Fundy shores preserved in situ at Joggins, “Coal Age” trees standing where they grew. As the great tides wash away the cliffs , everyday new sights are revealed . We could see and entire tree standing in rock .Footprints of creatures are frozen , in time and the dens of amphibians are preserved with remnants of their last meal. It is an amazing site to see. Children love it and hunt for hours for their treasures along the beach.
