  Folcloric Market
by Airpunk

If you are interested in some traditional souvenir like broaderies or something with paprika/bell peppers, this place is the right one for you. The folcloric market is located on castle hill, close to the Royal Palace. For people on a hurry, it?s a good way to have a look and buy a variety of hungarian souvenirs. However, it is a very touristy thing with high prices and hungarian stereotypes which probably never existed in that way.

Address: District I
Directions: On the top of Castle Hill (Varhegy). Funicular from Clark Adam ter (Buda bridgehead of the Chain Bridge), bus #16 from Deak F. ter, bus VAR from Moszkva ter. No cars allowed.
