Erlebnisrasthof Strohofer in Geiselwind is rather close to Wuerzburg or Nürnberg, directely on highway A3, but in a distance of 200 meters, so you wont hear any highway-noises there at all !It is not only a rather cheap hotel, but they offer also a Wellness-lounge, a large hall for events, music-shows and conventions for up to 1500 guests, a butcher, and even a church. Geiselwind is about halfway between my home in Austria and Hamburg, and mostly I take a room there, when I dont want to drive all the way in a single day.

Breakfast-time is 07.00a.m. -10.00p.m.
warm kitchen is available untill midnight !
The Hotel has an ordinary restaurant with german cuisine
and also a "Burger King"-restaurant !

Unique Qualities: My singleroom was 47 euros, including an excellent breakfast-buffet
The room had private facilities, TV and room-service between 10.00a.m. and midnight. All of the rooms are totally quiet, for away from the noises of the highway that is in a distance of 300 meters.
When checking in, ask for a room close to the indoor-pool (some room-keys will fit, for others you will get a seperate key free of charge)

The swimming-pool is open from 08.00a.m. - 11.00p.m.!
