Hmmmm....another Asian restaurant? Well, they are cheap (or cheaper) and usually, if you find the right authentic ones, tasty!

This is another packed place....filled to the brim with Asians, slurping double brewed broth, munching elastic al dente egg noodles and loading up on stir-fry dishes on warm rice. There is almost no Westerners in sight - always a good sign!

This place serves Cantonese chow - ala Hong Kong. The rows of BBQed pork, duck and chicken handing next to the kitchen is always a welcoming sight. Ladies were dainly sipping double brewed broths such as pork ribs with old cucumber. Next to me, 3 ladies with loads of shopping bags were tucking into roasted duck with one of them telling her mates that this is the best place for the dish....for its price. Ahh....a fellow Singaporean!

Favorite Dish: I had the simplest dish - shrimp dumpling noodles. WOAH! The size of the juicy shrimp dumplings! Gosh, just them alone are enough to fill me up. And the chilli - Wow!!

The place is open daily 11am-10.30pm.
