ASK: "Another Italian chain" Ask Italian Tip by Dabs
Ask Italian, London: 6 reviews and 6 photos
We had intended to go to Buona Sera at the Jam which I found recommended in my guidebook and Time Out Cheap Eat's. The kids were really excited when they saw the funky loft style seating and said they wanted to eat there but after looking at the menu which seemed anything but kid friendly coupled with a 45 minute wait we walked back down the street and found ASK and decided to eat there instead.
ASK is another multiple location Italian chain in London, comparable in style and price to Strada. The service was very quick and attentive, we had a very pleasant waiter. The place was pretty empty especially for a Saturday night, maybe the Italian chains in London have expanded beyond the saturation point?
Favorite Dish: I ordered a Stromboli pizza with pepperoni and that was pretty good, better than what I had at Pizza Express. David ordered spaghetti carbonara, the others ordered Polpette al Forno, penne pasta with beef meatballs, peppers, onions, and chiles, everyone loved their pasta.
Mains run from about £6-£9 and the menu is pasta, pizza and salads.
