"El Catador Pisco Bodega" Peru Things to Do Tip by iwys

Peru Things to Do: 659 reviews and 852 photos

Pisco is Peru's national drink and Ica is the heart of pisco country. There are several bodegas around the town, where you can get a guided tour and see the vineyards as well as the fermentation and distillation process which transforms the grapes into a clear liquor. You can also sample the end product and purchase bottles of pisco and pre-mixed pisco sour. Pisco El Catador is, in my opinion, pretty good. There is a nice outdoor restaurant here too.

Directions: Just outside Ica, north of Nazca
