Ashmolean Cafe: "Ashmolean Cafe" Oxford Restaurant Tip by jo104

The cafe is situated in the basement of the museum and is suprisingly light & airy it even has a small courtyard for outdoor seating. The museum itself is one of the oldest in the world & certainly the oldest in the UK housing art collections and antiques.

We were looking for somewhere to eat & I guide had told us the cakes were very good so I decided we could pop in & check the place out for tea later in the day. The array of cakes look very appetising and they also do sandwiches, soup and warm meals.
