During our visit to Switzerland in July 2008, after leaving Zurich we wanted to pop into Liechtenstein for a few hours. As there are no train stations in this tiny country, we needed to catch a bus from Switzerland. We opted to catch a bus from Sargans as this was on route from Zurich to Chur (where we were spending our next night).

When you arrive in Sargans you will find that it is just a small station, and it is very easy to find the correct bus stop, as it is right next to the station buildings.

There was a bus waiting there when we arrived and after a short wait we were off. We didn't have to buy tickets as the bus trip was covered by our Swiss Pass, but you can buy a ticket on the bus, and the cost is just a few francs.

We were unsure when to get off the bus, as it was travelling further than our destination of Vaduz (it continued on to Buchs), so I asked the driver if he could let us know and he yelled out to us when we had reached the main stop in Vaduz.
