Martin's Guest House: "B&B Close to the Royal Mile" Scotland Hotel Tip by 1xinalifetime

We stayed at Martin's Guest House for 2 weeks and enjoyed it thoroughly. The ensuite room was large and had a super-size king bed. Both of us slept well and were extremely satisfied with our hosts and their staff. Breakfast was generous, tasty and filling. The bus stop was a few steps from the front door, and the Royal Mile was only a 20 minute walk away. Many restaurants and a grocery store were a short walk, as well as a bank and post office. We very highly recommend this Guest House!
Unique Qualities: There is a theater nearby, as well as several places to eat. Buses pick up and drop off every 10 minutes during the day, and there was even a night bus. The Elephant House was a short bus ride away (where J.K. Rawlings began writing her Harry Potter series), and her house is within walking distance of Martin's Guest House. Rosslyn Chapel is a short bus ride away, as well as Edinburgh Zoo. Fantastic central location to see Edinburgh from. They have a car park in back as well.
