Beit Jann Things to Do: 3 reviews and 8 photos
Har Harie (Harie Mountain) is the highest spot in Beit Jann and is considered a sacred place to the Druze who live here. WHY is another matter since the religion of the Druze is a secret religion. What that means is that you only learn of the religion if you become a Druze (almost impossible) and decide to become a religious person, even Druze who are not religious do not know about the secrets of the religion. As you progress with your studies you are very slowly granted access to the next level of secrets within the religion. But religous or not Har Harie is not off limits for anyone to go and enjoy. We had a day of haze, but on a clear day you can see Carmiel, the Medditeranian, Har Meron and of course Beit Jann itself.
It is also used as a jump off point for paragliding, although because of the sacredness of the spot this is discouraged.
