"Tourist Information at Oslo Central Rail Station" Oslo Things to Do Tip by darkjedi

You have all done what I did. Looked at a map before you go and found the Tourist Information Center at Oslo Central Railway Station and thought, "Great, First stop."
Unfortunately when we emerged from the station we could not find it anywhere. This tip should avoid all that because its rediculously easy to find, its just a matter of knowing where to look.
Take a look at the photo. As you emerge from the station concorse you will see a tower about 50m away. Although there is a tourist info sign there, the entrance is permanently locked and you can't use it. Go down the steps and around the roadworks outside the station and look for a small entrance at the base of that tower. Thats how you enter it. Make sure you take a ticket for either the transport desk or the tourist information. Then just wait till your number appears and walk up to the clerk.
Address: Oslo Central Railway Station
Directions: Walk out of station and down steps of the concorse to find a hidden door at the base of the tower.
