You cannot sled at Snowbowl, but there are several great spots to go sledding in the wintertime. This photo is taken at Crowley Pit. Crowley pit has several different hills to sled or tube down, so great for any age. Just bring your tube or sled and have fun! To get to Crowley Pit continue northwest on Highway 180 past Arizona Snowbowl, approximately 9.8 miles (about 1 mile past the Flagstaff Nordic Center) and turn left at the parking sign (mile post 233) and continue to the parking area. It is FREE to go here! There are no bathrooms or concessions here.

Wing Hill is the most popular spot and about 7 miles closer to Snowbowl than Crowley Pit. It is $10 to get in. There are bathrooms at this location. To get to Wing Mountain continue northwest on Highway 180 past Snowbowl approximately 2.8 miles (just before mile post 226) and turn left on FR 222B and continue 1 mile to parking area. open 9:00 AM ? 4:00 PM daily www.snowplayaz.com.
