"Ghiradelli" Ghirardelli Square Tip by apbeaches

Ghirardelli Square, San Francisco: 42 reviews and 73 photos

There is parking, lots of colorful & charming shops, a pretty fountain and outdoor seating with views. But what we really go for is the Ghiradelli; every time I've been in San Francisco, we've had a chocolate sundae dinner. Ghirardelli, started in San Francisco more than 160 years ago, making us America?s oldest continuously operating chocolate maker. There are now two large chocolate shops with a huge selection of chocolates and gift items. We line up out the door, create our own ice cream concoctions, place out order and pay and find a table. Within a few minutes to ice cream is delivered to our at our table. The ice cream and toppings are premium and wonderful; this is a wonderful play to people watch too.
