"Tommorowland" Disneyland Tip by dek516

Disneyland's Tommorowland was designed to capture Disney's vision of a futuristic world. Rides in this land are space and science-themed. Despite some great rides, Tomorrowland lacks some of the magical feeling of the other lands, possibly because the vision of the future seems rather outdated.
Rides in Tomorrowland include:
--Finding Nemo's Submarine Voyage: Disneyland's newest ride draws large crowds. That, combined with slow lines (the ride itself, as well as loading and unloading of the subs, is slow), suggest that you should make this an early stop on your visit. Midday lines are around a 2 hour wait. The ride takes you on a colorful underwater journey with Nemo, Dory, Crush and other Nemo favorites. Not for the claustrophobic.
--Space Mountain: Depending on your love of rollercoasters, Space Mountain can be seen as a wild, scary ride or a rather tame coaster. The ride is lit by a starry sky but is otherwise completely dark, making it rather unique. Lines generally move quickly, but can get long midday.
--Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters: One of the parks' newer additions, Buzz Lightyear is an absolute must. One of the only interactive rides at Disneyland, Buzz allows you to shoot lasers at targets with the mission of destroying Buzz Lightyear's nemesis, Zurg. Targets have different values depending on their shape (triangles have the greatest value, circles the least) and whether they are lit up or not. You'll be tempted to go on multiple times to see if you can increase your score. Lines move quickly.
--Star Tours: If you like Star Wars, this ride should not be missed. Guests watch a large screen while simultaneously being moved around in their seats to create the illusion that they're traveling at light speed and battling the Death Star.
--Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Visitors sit in large auditorium and wear 3D glasses to experience a 3D show based on the Honey I Shrunk the Kids movies. In this show, the audience itself is shrunk. There are a few scary moments, including when a 3D snake opens its jaws at guests, and when puffs of air give the illusion that mice are crawling under the seats. This attraction is in need of an update and falls under the "can be missed" category.
Directions: Turn right at the end of Main Street to reach Tomorrowland.
