"Reading through the years" Stanford Things to Do Tip by Little_Lou_Lou

Stanford Things to Do: 6 reviews and 12 photos

Harvey Helm Museum & Library - Built in 1788, this historic library/museum was one of the first houses in Stanford. Originally served as first church in Kentucky, a home in the 1930's and then a library in 1965. Opened in 1971 as it is known today.

A great number of the local court records have been relocated to the library for public convenience. Lincoln County, as one of the three original counties, has some of the oldest records in the state.
