Sawatdee: ""Just Thai It"" Top 5 Page for this destination Sawatdee Tip by goodfish

Sawatdee, Minneapolis: 3 reviews and 5 photos

There is one reason to go to Sawatdee: pad thai. The best pad thai in town. For those of you who already love the stuff, this is where to find it. Those of you who haven't yet tried pad thai, this is where you should have your first taste of Thailand's national dish. You order it on a spiciness scale of 1-5 (I'm a 3-4) and I'll recommend that novices start with a 1 or 2 and ask for additional peppers on the side so you can add heat as desired. Sawatdee has been around forever and has grown to 5-6 locations throughout the metro area on the merits of their extensive menu, very generous portions and - you guessed it - amazing pad thai.

I could barely write this review, I was so hungry for a big plate of the stuff!
I'll have to try tom yum, if they have it? It sounds, well, yummy!

I'm overdue for a Sawadee fix too - and this badly needs a new photo.
