This ferry departs every half an hour from Manhattan Island to Staten Island and return.
The ferry will pass the Statue of Liberty up close.
So this is a good option for those who don't have time (takes about 5 hours for Liberty and Ellis Island tour) to explore Liberty Island, and the best part of it is, it's FREE.

Address: trains N, R, Q & W to Whitehall St.
Directions: Manhattan
Phone: 718-727-2508
