"Grouse Mountain - The Observatory" Province of British Columbia Things to Do Tip by Steven&Tiffany

We hiked up Grouse Mountain... This is not your ordinary hike up a little hill... This was some serious work! Now, you can ride a ski lift up and back down (for a fee)...or, you can hike up the mountain and get a ride back down for much cheaper... we opted for that. I'm glad I can say I did it but it was pretty extreme for someone who doesn't do much hiking... It's extremely dangerous as well... plus, it takes some time so REMEMBER TO BRING WATER! Once you get to the top it's amazing! There's snow and a great site. WORTH checking out!

The Observatory

This place, while pricey, was a great experience. Great for romance, not exactly for kids. You get an amazing view of Vancouver... definitely go when it's dark. And, with our reservations we went up the ski lift for free. Of course, we went back to our hotel to freshen up after our hike... it's a very nice place...
