Lantau Island is home to one of the largest Buddhas in the world. You can climb up the steps and see the small museum with relics housed inside. At the monastery below you can also have a vegetarian lunch. Admission is HK$28 (less than US$4) without the lunch included and a little more if you wish to purchase with the lunch.
