"pedestrian street for shopping" Calle Florida - Florida Street Tip by mindcrime
Calle Florida - Florida Street, Buenos Aires: 39 reviews and 63 photos
Florida street is the elegant pedestrian street of Buenos Aires. It?s about 1km long from San Martin square to Rivadavia avenue. You will walk here anyway to see the shops, buy a book in one of the many bookstores, take money from banks, drink a coffee or find an internet cafÚ. Among many smaller shops you will also find Galerias Pacifico a mall with upscale shops. I don?t know about you but I found it boring walking with so many tourists next to me! From the other side some street artists, living statues, some tango performance were nice late in the afternoon?
On the way you will see another pedestrian street, Lavalle street, which is the center of the cinemas.
Directions: Calle Florida starts from plaza San Martin although most of the times I was walking towards San Martin square as I was coming from Plaza de mayo.
