Wagyu Steaks are still cheaper in Manila than in the states. the 21 ounce prime rib wagyu I've ordered here costs 2,900 pesos (exluding taxes and service charge) but included is the veggies, a glass of wine, unlimited bread and liver pate or butter. But Angus beef is more expensive here than in the USA. prices start at 1700 pesos ($ 36) for a 12 ounce rib eye steak (a 24 ounce porterhouse steak is about $40 in the states).

Wagyu here is from Australia while Wagyu in the States comes from Sanke River Farms (The original wagyu is from Japan and is about twice as much expensive!)

Favorite Dish: the wagyu of course, since this almost melts in your mouth. Wagyu is not the most expensive japanese beef, kobe is more expensive and matzusakaya is the most expensive!

Melo's is the most luxurious steakhouse in manila.
