The Church was built in the period between 1704 and 1755 by the Jesuits. It was completely reconstructed in 1955.

The Church is 75m tall with 79m-tall Bell Tower and has beautiful frescoes depicting the life of St Nicholas.

The magnificent façade is decorated with the coat of arms of the Count of Kolovrat and Statues of the Fathers of the Church.
