"Concerts or Expositions at Bozar" Palais des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles - BOZAR Tip by bientje1972

The Palace of Fine Arts or 'Bozar' as we all call it, is a temple of Culture. Although it used to be known for the Classical concerts, visited by mainly older stiff people, over the years it has changed a lot.
Nowadays, there are concerts and exhibitions for everyone. Still a lot of classical concerts, but also flamenco, Iceland artists, movie premieres, etc...

If you are there in Summer 2008, don't miss the exhibition 'It's not only Rock 'n Roll Baby'. Artworks made by famous artists. Take a look at their website for the full programme. There are concerts of John Cale, Lou Reed...

Compared to other theatres around the world, you can often get concerts at very cheap rates here (for example to see the Berliner Philharmonica or the London Symphonic Orchestra)

And even if you're not attending a concert or exhibition, just visiting the building is worthwhile. It was designed by the famous Art Nouveau architect Victor Horta.
