located across the street from the new town hall is the beautiful baroque church of st. ignatius. the church was built in 1665 and designed by carlo lurago. the tower was added in 1687 and was designed by paul ignaz bayer. in the interior of the church is the painting "the glory of st. ignatius" by jan heinsch.
