"Beer-darts" Upper Foster Lake Sports & Outdoors Tip by Bwana_Brown

'Beer-darts' is a sport I had not heard of until going on this trip. Members of previous expeditions soon introduced it to me and (although I only tried it twice) it turned out to be an enjoyable way to pass part of the evening hours after all the fishing had been completed for the day.
Teams comprising any number of members (usually two, three or four) were selected and would sit in rows a few feet apart facing each other. Each team would have a can of beer (or maybe two stacked cans when the game really got going) sitting on the ground in front of them. The teams would each then alternately throw one dart at the opposing team's can and, if they succeeded in puncturing it, one member of that team would have to immediately guzzle it down. The next time a hit was made, the next member of the team would take his turn downing the beverage. It turned into quite a laugh as the bravado of each team rose through the course of the game. The game was over when a member of either team tossed in the towel and said enough was enough.
Equipment: Several full beer cans and two darts
Theme: Extreme Sports
