The Bombay Cafe has been named by the Zagat Guide as the highest rated Indian food restaurant in LA for several years, racking up tons of press and different awards along the way. Our end of the table ordered the Thali, which is a vegetarian sampler of lentils, cauliflower, potatoes, raita, kachumber, plain naan and basmati rice. For some protein we also ordered the Bombay Sampler, which featured chicken, shrimp, lamb, and a lamb loaf. Our combo was for 2, but we managed to feed 5. =)

Price: US$11-20
