"A Change of Clothes for a One-Day Stopover" Clothes Tip by Kakapo2

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you just have a stopover in Kuala Lumpur and just spend the day in the city, as I did, it is essential that you have a change of clothes in your hand luggage.

You will sweat like crazy in the city, so be prepared.

Best is to take one or two of those breathable sports jerseys with you, as they transport the sweat to the outside and keep you relatively dry. Some fabrics even cool you when it is hot, and warm you when it is cold.

My jeans felt very hot - but I wanted to be dressed appropriately in mosques and similar places. Now as I know that they give you cloths you can wrap around your waist in such places I opt for lighter trousers or a skirt... Fresh underwear and socks is clear, isn't?

Also make sure you have a pair of slippers or sandals, so you do not have to suffer in hiking boots the whole day.

After your excursion you can (better: have to...) take a shower at the airport and wash the sweat and stink away, and only then change back into dry clothes. You will feel like new :-)

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Only the essentials you would need to refresh yourself at the airport anyway.

When you take a shower at the airport (wonderful!) before leaving you get shampoo and bodywash, so no need to fill up your bag with such things.
