Badische Brauhaus: "Interesting place........." Karlsruhe Restaurant Tip by leics

It's a brewery, it has an indoor slide, there is a suit of armour.........

.....and it dealt very admirably indeed with the first main VT meeting, feeding and 'watering' (so to speak) 100+ VT-ers.

The beer was good here, especially the Dunkelbier (which I prefer). Very hoppy, very fruity.

The buffet laid on for VT-ers was good, with both hot and cold dishes.

And the ladies' loo has a most interesting decorative feature (see photo).

Worth a visit, if only for a beer-tasting session.
