"Ardnamurchan lighthouse" Scotland Things to Do Tip by kat-m

This was a well worth visit, the lighthouse is open to the public with museum and video in the visitor centre. A gift shop and cafe too. What did it for me though was the views from the area out to the open sea , where you can see the isles of Coll and Tiree. We were spoiled by the lovely clear weather though. There is a static caravan sight nearby which has a great beach and views.
Address: Right at the end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula
Directions: Turn off at the village of Kilchoan, it is well signposted.
