Hardware Grill: "One of the best in Canada" Hardware Grill Tip by tdobb

Hardware Grill, Edmonton: 3 reviews and 1 photos

I took five customers to this restaurant in May 2008. The service was excellent from the reservation, greeting, server and so on. We did start eating at 7:15 and the time between the starters and main course was probably around 45 minutes. However, there was a large party also there that got served before us and I am a believer great food takes time, so my only point is this is not a restaurant you are in and out. The prices are a bit high but it is not a la carte and the portions are superb.

Favorite Dish: I started with the meat and potato "foie gras and mini baked" It was cooked perfectly and tasted great. My next dish was duck breast and duck sausage, some sauteed squash, and a few other items with a rasberry sauce. This dish by far was one of the best ever. I love duck and have eaten it every way imaginable. This was the best duck ever.

No room for desert, great, great, great wine selection and the prices are right.
