this beautiful church was originally built by duke kazimierz between 1185 and 1212. the church was built to house relics of st. florian given to the duke by pope lucius III in 1184. today there is no trace of the medieval church and st. florian's exterior was completely remodelled in the 20th century. the high alter has a painted effigy of st. florian painted by jan tricius in the late 17th century.
